Joy Polintan is a New York-based stylist and colorist, who for the past 30 years has cultivated her talent and vision into hair that transcends time and fast trends. In 2004, after immersive training under industry heavyweights at Bumble & Bumble, she founded Deluxe Salon in Williamsburg. A neighborhood pillar for two decades, her salon provided an inclusive, avant-garde, collaborative, and creative space, jumpstarting countless hair careers. After 20 years of helping to shape the cultural fabric of Williamsburg, and living out her dream of building an iconic salon, she's gone solo.
Joy specializes in razor-cutting classic long layers and cool girl shags, bleaching platinum blondes, hair-painting beachy lived-in hair, and customizing beaded sewn-in weft extensions.
